Debbie Linick is the sole proprietor of Pictures with Prose and a former government relations expert with degrees in International Relations, Business Administration and now Photography & Arts.

She is an adoptive, birth and stepmom to five kids, two exchanges students and two furry friends.  She is the wife of a 30 year Army veteran and the proud granddaughter and great-niece of two published autobiographers and two grandparents immortalized in book and film.   With such an interesting life journey of her own, she has been drawn to helping others tell theirs.

And here's how:

Together we can create digital and print albums that tell a unique and important story.  Honoring a gifted individual at an annual gala or award ceremony, charting the journey of a special couple as they approach their wedding day, remembering the best friends any high school senior could hope for as you ready yourself for college, welcoming your new daughter or son shortly after their birth or acknowledging their special journey of adoption, creating a legacy book for seniors to share with their children, grandchildren and beyond, or just capturing important travels with a cherished companion.

Writing has been an important part of my background from my articles on the college newspaper through decades of non-profit advocacy.  My pictures breathe life into these words from my earliest fiddling with a 35 millimeter to my recent photography degree.

As an adoptive mom immersed in the DC local community and among military familes, I understand the importance of life and family narratives for adopted children.  Understanding their personal and family history that ties together both their biological and forever family roots, fosters pride and self-esteem for children’s who were uprooted during their earliest years.

As an advocate for non-profits and the organizer of an annual Holocaust commemoration celebrating the heroic lives of individuals in our community.  Words and their stories have been the foundation of this work.  The effort I make to help over 40 survivors in our community share their life stories has inspired me to want to help all seniors share their life stories within their families and beyond.

So whether you’re a new parent or a long time veteran looking with pride at the family of kids, grandkids, in-laws and outlaws that congregate at your Thanksgiving table….

Or you want to remember a gifted citizen who has brought so much success to your company or justice to our community…

Or you are returning from an important journey or starting a life journey with your new partner.

Let’s work together to capture that unique story, the timeless memories, and the beautiful people that have made the journey all worthwhile.  Together we can breathe life into aging photos and memories, capture new and vibrant images and combine them together with the story that only you can tell.

A story that’s waiting to be told!
